We had an excellent experience with our trip to Sicily. The planning was outstanding, communication was consistently smooth and straightforward, and the itinerary was carefully curated and very well organized.

What stood out most to us was the genuine care given to our personal preferences, the flexibility throughout the trip, and the patience shown in adapting everything to our wishes. The team’s strong local expertise, together with their warmth and sincere commitment to creating a tailored experience, made the journey truly special.

I had a trip to Sicily planned for March 2026 and reached out to a few different travel planning services to better understand available options. Two out of three companies replied, and I was most impressed by the initial response from Time for Sicily, leading to the next level of informational discussions.

Although I ended up not using Time for Sicily in the end (details below), I’d still highly recommend their service for anyone looking for a comprehensive, local Sicilian travel planning service.

Through my initial engagement with them via email, informational call with Francesco Messina, and post-call email from him with some examples and service details, I was thoroughly impressed with their knowledge and experience, but especially by their level of interest and engagement. I was confident that my family would have been in good hands.

Why I didn’t choose Time for Sicily:
My planned trip to Sicily was very short and targeted (only for a few days, and we already had a very defined list of things to do/see). Consequently, the scope of support provided by Time for Italy’s service wasn’t the right fit for that specific trip.

However, if you have specific interests/requirements for your trip and/or you’re looking for local expertise arranging things to ensure you have an amazing and memorable trip (and especially if it’s your first trip to Sicily), I would highly recommend you contact them.

I’ve been to Sicily before this latest trip, and I have many future trips to Sicily in my future. I’ll definitely keep Time for Sicily in mind when planning them out.

Time for Travelling is like having a tour book come alive advising you how to get “there”, what to see, what to look out for and all in real time. You never feel like you are alone because help and advice is always available from them whether it’s what to do when it’s raining and you planned outdoor activities to how to get from place to place with a rail strike or train delays from track work or how to arrange a taxi on the fly. They make restaurant suggestions and so much more.

We traveled for almost 3 weeks in Italy and Time for Travelling was always there for us including when I left my contacts in Malta (a stop we made on our own before arriving in Italy) and they got them delivered to me at a stop in Italy.

The prearranged tours we selected were exactly as described and the drivers super professional. The drivers arrived on time (really a few minutes early)  including the one who took us to the airport at 3:45am!!

We also did a lot of self-touring (no tour guides) with lots of information and suggestions from Time for Travelling.

Francesco and Noemi helped plan our trip. They are fantastic full of direct knowledge and helpful hints. We never felt pressured. They were also available to us throughout the trip.

We consider ourselves experienced travelers so contacted Paola and Francesco simply to check our plans before making finally bookings. After our call we added and subtracted much to our itinerary, lots of new places to visit which we dismissed as not interesting/too far/too difficult to reach. Both created much excitement about the 'less travelled' sites with advise how to travel to the sites as well as accommodation for the best value and of course food alternatives.
